Yun-Ha Jung Student Wins KIGAM AI Competition Encouragement Award

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Yun-Ha Jung and 3 other students from the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 29th that they won an encouragement award at the 2021 Geological Resources Data Utilization and Artificial Intelligence Competition organized by the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM).

The award was in the Research Data Analysis and Utilization category, and the research on applying artificial intelligence technology using geological resources data received excellent evaluations.

This award is a result of recognizing the convergence research capabilities of geophysics and artificial intelligence technology, and is expected to contribute to the digital transformation of the geological resources field in the future.
