Master's Student Sea-Eun Park Publishes Paper on 4D Time-Lapse Seismic Research in Journal of KSMER

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Sea-Eun Park, a master's student researcher at the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL), announced on the 29th that her paper, 'A Study on the Applicability of Frequency-Domain Reverse Time Migration-based 4D Time-Lapse Seismic Technology for CO2 Geological Storage Monitoring in Pohang Yeongil Bay', has been published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineers.

The paper was published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Mineral and Energy Resources.

This research was conducted through joint research with Seoul National University and the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM).

The study examined the applicability of 4D time-lapse seismic technology for CO2 geological storage monitoring in the Pohang Yeongil Bay area, utilizing a frequency-domain reverse time migration technique.

This research is evaluated to make a significant contribution to the development of long-term monitoring technology for CO2 geological storage projects.
