Geophysics Computing Lab Presents CO2 Storage Research at 2021 KSMER Spring Conference
[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 28th that it attended the Korea Society of Mineral and Energy Resources (KSMER) Spring Conference online, held at Lotte Hotel Ulsan from May 20th to 21st, 2021.
At this conference, Master's student Sea-Eun Park presented on 'A Study on the Applicability of 3D Seismic Imaging Technology for CO2 Geological Storage'.
The presented research was conducted with funding from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) and the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP), and exploration data provided by Equinor, focusing on the development of core technologies for CO2 geological storage projects.
