Master's Student Roh Heechan Publishes Paper on Seabed Seismic Full-Waveform Inversion Research in Geophysics and Geophysical Exploration Journal

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Roh Heechan, a master's student researcher at the Geophysics Computing Lab of Jeonbuk National University, announced on the 29th that his paper, 'Comparison of 2D/3D Acoustic Full-Waveform Inversion for 3D Seabed Seismic Survey Data', has been published in the Geophysics and Geophysical Exploration journal.

The paper was published in the Geophysics and Geophysical Exploration journal in November 2022.

This research was conducted through joint research with Joongwon University and contains a comparative analysis of 2D and 3D acoustic full-waveform inversion techniques for 3D seismic survey data in a seabed environment.

The research results are expected to make a significant contribution to evaluating the efficiency and accuracy of dimensional inversion techniques in marine exploration.
