Professor Ju-Won Oh Appointed to Jeonju City Underground Safety Management Committee

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 3rd that he has been appointed as a member of the Jeonju City Underground Safety Management Committee.

The appointment period is two years, from August 17, 2022, to August 16, 2024.

The Underground Safety Management Committee is responsible for advising on the establishment and implementation of underground space safety management policies in Jeonju City.

Professor Ju-Won Oh will contribute to the establishment of Jeonju City's underground safety management system based on his expertise in geophysical exploration and monitoring technology.

This appointment is considered a good example of industry-academia cooperation for regional development.
