Professor Ju-Won Oh Discusses International Collaborative Research During Visit to NTNU, Norway
[Jeonju=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 2nd that he visited the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from December 11th to 23rd, 2022, to discuss international collaborative research.
This visit was made possible with support from the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP).
Professor Ju-Won Oh discussed the latest technology for fault detection through 3D seismic imaging technology with Professor Alexey Stovas of NTNU.
He was accompanied by master's students Hyeonggeun Ji and Jin-Young Park to coordinate research directions and established a plan for continuous collaborative research using Sleipner 4D seismic monitoring data.
This visit laid the foundation for establishing a long-term cooperation system with Norwegian researchers and expanding the international research network in the field of seismic imaging.
