Professor Ju-Won Oh Provides Technical Consulting to Korea CCUS Promotion Agency

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 3rd that he provided technical consulting to the Korea CCUS Promotion Agency in September 2022.

This consultation was conducted for the purpose of data collection to establish an efficient utilization system for CCUS technical information.

The consultation was based on case studies of large-scale overseas CCS storage sites, and proposed systematic information utilization methods for the development of domestic CCUS technology.

Professor Ju-Won Oh stated, "I aim to contribute to the development of domestic CCUS technology based on my expertise in CO2 storage monitoring using seismic imaging technology."
