Professor Ju-Won Oh Participates in Energy New Industry Innovation Sharing University Operating Committee and Lecture Development

[Jeonju=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced that he has been appointed as a member of the Operating Committee of the Energy New Industry Innovation Sharing University project and will participate as a lecture development professor.

The Energy New Industry Innovation Sharing University is a consortium project involving seven universities, including Jeonbuk National University, Korea University, Hanyang University, Kangwon National University, Pusan National University, and Gyeongnam Information University, with Seoul National University as the lead university.

This project aims to jointly develop and operate non-face-to-face online curricula in the energy new industry field, providing high-quality educational content by combining the expertise of each university.

Professor Ju-Won Oh participates in the overall planning and operation of the project as a member of the operating committee, and at the same time, is responsible for developing the 'Energy Environmental Technology' lecture. This lecture covers the convergence of the energy industry and environmental technology and will be provided to students nationwide through an online platform.

The Energy New Industry Innovation Sharing University presents a new educational model suitable for the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and promotes educational innovation through inter-university cooperation. In particular, it contributes to improving both accessibility and quality of education by developing content optimized for the non-face-to-face educational environment that has spread since COVID-19.

Professor Ju-Won Oh stated, "Through the Innovation Sharing University project, I will develop excellent educational content in the energy field and contribute to fostering future energy professionals." He added, "I will provide better learning opportunities for students through a convergent curriculum that combines the expertise of various universities."
