Regional University Scientist Support Project Completed

[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced that the Regional University Scientist Support Project of the National Research Foundation of Korea, which it had been carrying out since June 1, 2020, has been completed.

The completed project is titled 'Development of Efficient 3D Frequency-Domain Seismic Imaging Technology Using Multicomponent Seismic Survey Data'.

Through this project, 3D Frequency-Domain Acoustic Seismic Imaging Program (3DFAASIP) was developed. The developed program has been verified through 3D seabed seismic survey data from the North Sea region.

The Regional University Scientist Support Project is a program supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea to strengthen the research capabilities of regional universities.
