Geophysics Computing Lab Challenges KORAD University Support Project and Gains Learning Experience

[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 6th that it challenged the Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KORAD) University Support Project.

This support was provided as an interconnected education program with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), conducted in the form of an undergraduate project.

Although it was not selected this time, this experience improved the lab's understanding of spent nuclear fuel deep disposal technology.

It also served as an opportunity to further strengthen the network with LBNL, laying the foundation for future international collaborative research in the field of radioactive waste disposal.
