Kakao Employee Lee Jinhyung Visits Lab

[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 17th that Lee Jinhyung, an employee of Kakao, visited the lab and provided valuable information on the employment status in the IT field and strategies for geophysical majors to enter IT companies.

Despite being on vacation, Lee Jinhyung visited the lab to provide career counseling for junior students. In particular, he offered practical advice on the preparations required and strategies for adapting to work when geophysical majors join IT companies.

During the visit, information on current recruitment trends in the IT industry and the ideal talent profiles of major IT companies, including Kakao, was also shared. He also emphasized that physics-based analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are sufficiently competitive in the IT field.
