[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 2nd that it attended the 2022 Korea Society of Mineral and Energy Resources (KSMER) Fall Conference held at High1 Grand Hotel in Gangwon-do from November 2nd to 4th, 2022.

At this conference, undergraduate researcher Yun-Ha Jung presented on 'A Study on the Applicability of 4D Seismic Monitoring Technology Using GPU'.

The presented research was conducted with funding from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), focusing on the convergence research of high-performance computing technology using GPUs and 4D seismic monitoring techniques.

This research is expected to contribute to the development of real-time high-resolution imaging technology in the field of underground reservoir monitoring, such as CO2 geological storage.
