[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 3rd that it held a business meeting with Barrett Cameron and Allan Mckay, Vice Presidents of PGS, a Norwegian oil exploration company, to prepare for the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP)'s overseas CCS storage acquisition project.

This discussion was aimed at forming an international collaborative research project for securing overseas CCS storage, and explored the possibility of PGS's collaborative research team participating.

Although PGS's collaborative research team did not participate, it was an opportunity to gain important insights into preparations and access strategies for promoting joint research with overseas oil companies.

Through this business meeting, the need for systematic preparation and strategy establishment for future cooperation with overseas companies was confirmed, and experience was accumulated for building an international CCS technology cooperation network.
