Professor Ju-Won Oh Conducts Visiting Research at KAUST, Saudi Arabia

[Thuwal=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced that he has completed his visiting research at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia.

Professor Ju-Won Oh visited KAUST for about two weeks, from January 21 to February 2. This visit was supported by the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP)'s Global Human Resources Development Project.

During his visit, Professor Ju-Won Oh reviewed the results of collaborative research with researcher Jin-Young Park, who is dispatched to KAUST, and concretized future collaborative research plans.

In particular, discussions were held on continuous academic exchange with DeepWave, an AI geophysical exploration consortium, laying the foundation for expanding the international research network. Active exchanges with KAUST are expected to continue in the future.
