Master's Student Jung Yunha Begins Long-Term Research Dispatch at Qualcomm Institute, USA
[San Diego=GeoVis] Jung Yunha, a master's student at the Geophysics Computing Lab of Jeonbuk National University, has departed for a long-term research dispatch with the Qualcomm Institute in the United States.
This dispatch is part of the 'Digital Global Research Talent Nurturing Project' by the Korea Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP). Jung Yunha will stay at the Qualcomm Institute from August 21 to December 25, 2024, and will conduct collaborative research on the development of AI core technologies with Dr. Seokheon Cho.
This long-term dispatch is expected to provide Jung Yunha with international research experience and a significant opportunity to deepen her expertise in AI-based technology.
Professor Ju-Won Oh emphasized, "Jung Yunha's dispatch will strengthen our lab's international research capabilities and serve as an important stepping stone for students to grow into global experts." He added, "We will continue to expand such international cooperation opportunities in the future."
