Master's Student Ji Hyeonggeun Publishes 3D FWI Paper in IEEE GRSL

[Seoul=GeoVis] Ji Hyeonggeun, a master's student at the Geophysics Computing Lab of Jeonbuk National University, published a new research paper in July 2024 in the world-renowned journal IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters (IEEE GRSL).

The paper, titled "3-D Full-Waveform Inversion of the “Snowflake” Baseline Dataset: Toward Monitoring of CO₂ Storage Through Inversion of Multioffset, Multiazimuth VSP Data at the Newell County Facility in Alberta, Canada," discusses CO2 storage monitoring technology through 3D Full-Waveform Inversion (FWI) using Snowflake baseline VSP data from the Newell County Facility in Alberta, Canada.

This paper publication is a testament to Ji Hyeonggeun's outstanding research capabilities and serves as an opportunity to publicly announce the research achievements of the Geophysics Computing Lab.
