Professor Ju-Won Oh Delivers Short Course and Oral Presentations at 2026 KSEEG Spring Conference
[Jeonju=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab (JBCGL) at Jeonbuk National University delivered a short course and two oral presentations at the 2026 Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geosciences (KSEEG).
On the first day, Professor Oh taught a short course titled "Multi-AI Agent Systems Specialized for Earth Science: From Autonomous Research Agents to the Implementation of a Virtual Geoscience Laboratory," sharing the design philosophy and development process behind GeoVis, an autonomous research agent applicable across the Earth sciences, and introducing the vision for a virtual geoscience laboratory.
On the second day, two oral presentations followed. In the resource geology session, Professor Oh presented "Implementation of an AI Agent-Based Digital Twin Platform for Resource Development Demonstration Sites," introducing the design and prototype implementation of an AI-based digital twin platform specialized for resource development demonstration sites such as CO2 geological storage and geothermal development. In the geoscience session, he presented "Development of a Research Platform Connecting AI Agents with a Knowledge Base Spanning All Fields of Geoscience," covering the design and implementation status of an integrated knowledge base platform that links vast geoscience literature and research data with AI agents in real time.
