Strategic Planning & Foresight Department

The Strategic Planning & Foresight Department trains students to build long-term strategy for energy research and commercialization and to design organizational resource allocation. Students gain hands-on project experience in TRL assessment, competitive intelligence, and decarbonization-pathway roadmapping while mastering portfolio-optimization techniques, graduating and heading into the field armed with firsthand experience designing institutional strategic roadmaps and sitting in on resource-allocation decisions for research and commercialization.
