Horizon Scanning & Tech Intelligence Center

The Horizon Scanning & Tech Intelligence Department teaches students how to track and structure the global landscape of geoscience, AI, and adjacent research outputs, external institutional activity, technology paradigm shifts, and policy/funding signals using a unified ontology framework. Students practice (1) continuous multi-source signal collection and ontology-based structuring, (2) producing daily/weekly intelligence digests and signal alerts, and (3) early detection and interpretation of paradigm-shift indicators, graduating having single-handedly produced technology-intelligence briefings ready for organizational decision-making.
