Innovation Hub & Open R&D Department

The Innovation Hub & Open R&D Department builds the practical capability to turn interdisciplinary collaboration and rapid prototyping into breakthrough geoscience innovations. Students run design-thinking workshops, ideation sprints, and proof-of-concept development in dedicated makerspace and prototyping facilities as hands-on projects, graduating with a track record of working across disciplinary boundaries to translate ideas into testable prototypes.
